Ever feel un-motivated when it comes to getting yourself up & moving? Don't worry, everyone does at some point! Whether that be from a stressful day at work, family issues, or lack of sleep. It will happen at some point, but don't let it get you down! Keep looking at the positives as you move forward. Here are a few pointers that have helped me in the past & little "go-to's" that I use now.

REMIND YOURSELF
Think of a time that you did get your workout in & recall how great you felt afterwards! The fact that you completed the workout, the sweat you left behind & how strong you feel about yourself at the end. Remind yourself that you CAN DO IT & You will!

START SMALL
Many times when we think of a workout, our brains automatically go to thinking that we have to complete an entire hour. Even as awesome that may be for you to do, place it in your mind that you are going to complete 20 minutes. Letting yourself know that doing something is better than nothing, will help keep you on track to get going. Plus, once you get going, your endorphins will kick in & maybe you'll find that "high" to keep going!

VISUALLY PREPARED
Have everything you need set out ahead of time, but not only that, have it in sight! Once you have your essentials packed, keep it out where you can see it. Place it right at your feet or even better, place that precious baby in the passenger seat!

PUMP IT UP & BREATHE
Listen to a bit of music that gets you moving! Pull up your favorite song on YouTube & jam out! Smile & enjoy yourself for those few minutes, then take the deepest breath you can. Then go!

Normally our motivation passes by us & we try to look for it. We look for something that will make us want to go. Although, as more social media pops up, there's a possibility that might actually make you feel a bit more down. Motivation is going to come to you when you see a difference in yourself. Maybe that is a 5 lb weight loss, or a 30 lb weight loss, maybe clearer skin or more energy. Whatever it is, MOTIVATION WILL FIND YOU! Phenomenal things take time. In a world of imperfectly perfect, take a breath, smile & tell yourself you can. Do that over & over again. Give yourself time with that & motivation will start to come naturally to you. Until then, be prepared to just START!
