Back in October, we challenged you to step on the scale and then maintain your weight through the holidays. 229 participants took the challenge and weighed in again after January 1st. At a time when most people gain a few pounds, 210 Manatee County employees successfully maintained or lost weight! That's 92% of participants who experienced SUCCESS this year.
Congratulations to the top 3 departments who had the highest weight loss:
- MSO/Jail: 145lbs lost! (Wellness Champion Amy Boldin)
- MSO/Ops: 128.3lbs lost! (Wellness Champions Elizabeth Thomas and Yvonne Gard)
- MSO/Child Protection: 70.2lbs lost! (Wellness Champion Sandra Zabriskie)
All participants who maintained or lost weight were entered to receive a $25 gift card. Our randomly selected grand prize winners are:
