Hi! My name is Claribel and I’m so excited to be joining the LAMP team at Manatee YourChoice Health Plan to provide individual, family, or marital counseling to the employees and family members of Manatee County Government.

I’m Bilingual, speaking English and Spanish, and being bilingual has given me the opportunity to work with the Hispanic population in order to help them learn about mental health and wellbeing.

I become a clinical counselor in 2014 in Wisconsin and completed my 3000 clinical hours in adifferent types of settings. I worked in family practice with clients who were having Mental Health problems due to medical conditions, in low-income housing with clients that were dual-diagnosied, and as an in-home  counselor, providing services to families struggling with mental health and behavioral issues in the home.

I moved to Florida from Wisconsin seven month ago and it has been a wonderful transition. My husband, Antonio, and I have 2 children who are college in Wisconsin. Besides working at Manatee YourChoice, I enjoy visiting my family in Florida. We love to get together whenever we can. 

AS a LAMP counselor I will be actively involved with a multi-disciplinary team focusing on the integration of emotional and physical health. Primarily, I am working with the LAMP team to provide individual, group, and family therapy in a confidential, safe, and therapeutic environment. As a reminder, all employees and YourChoice members, regardless of plan level, receive the first 5 counseling session at no cost to you. YourChoice members can continue care and receive additional session at a $15 copay for onsite providers and $25 copay for in-network providers in the community.
