Lesli Strickland has extensive experience in benefits administration, serving for almost 9 years at the Manatee County School District as the Benefits Administrator. Lesli received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Business Administration from Mars Hill College in North Carolina. She has over 20 years of experience in insurance including being a licensed insurance agent.  She is a firm believer that being healthy goes far deeper than not getting sick and having to visit a doctor; Preventative medicine is the key to cure. She believes the more proactive we are in maintaining our health through regular visits to our doctor, moderate exercise, and fulfilling life experiences, the healthier we will be. This philosophy is evidenced in Manatee YourChoice Health Plan's many wellbeing programs. 

In her spare time, Lesli enjoys spending time with her husband Daniel, and two daughters Claire (21) and Brooke (14).
