The YourChoice Fitness Center offers a variety of equipment and programs for all fitness levels. It is a 6000 square foot facility offering resistance and cardiovascular training ideal for busy people; including TRX suspension training, Group Fitness classes and Personal Training. A Full Time Fitness Specialist is on site for orientations, individual and group training.

Membership
  • Cost - There is no fee to use the YourChoice Fitness Center.
  • Eligibility - Only adult (age 19 and over) members enrolled in the YourChoice Health Plan and employees are eligible to use the Fitness Center.
  • Children - You must be 19 years of age or older to use the YourChoice Fitness Center unless participating in a personal training session with a parent or guardian who is also on the YourChoice Health Plan.
  • How to Sign Up - Complete the YourChoice Fitness Center & Program Liability Waiver. Upon submission of the waiver participants will be given an Access Card for the Fitness Center. To check the status of your access card, or for any other questions regarding Fitness Center membership/services contact the Fitness Center at 941-748-4501 x3979 or email jdrackett@manateeyourchoice.com.
Equipment/Amenities

The Fitness Center has a variety of cardiovascular training equipment such as treadmills, elliptical machines and bikes. We also offer

  • TRX Suspension Trainers for total body strengthening
  • BOSU Balance trainers and stability balls
  • Dumbbells up to 25 lbs with free weight bench
  • Body bars with weight plates
  • Cable machine with numerous attachments
  • Cardio Theatre with 3 flat screen T.V’s
  • Showers
  • Lockers and changing rooms
  • Group Fitness Classes
  • Personal Trainers
Worksite Fitness Centers

Manatee YourChoice also manages fitness centers at certain worksites, including the Public Safety center, Transit, and Utilities. These fitness centers have different equipment and membership requirements, and require separate registration. 

  • PSC - Open to Public Safety Center employees only
  • Transit - Open to Transit/Transit Fleet Personnel Only
  • Utilities - Open to BCC employees and adult covered dependents only

A Liability Waiver must be on file in order to gain access to the fitness center and/or utilize group fitness, personal training, etc. For questions regarding this form, please contact the YourChoice Fitness Center at 941.748.4501 x3979.
NOTE: If you already have access to the Fitness Center, then you already have a liability waiver on file and DO NOT need to complete this form.

NOTE: The Transit Fitness Center is open to Transit employees only.

NOTE: The Utilities Fitness Center is open to BCC employees and their adult covered dependents only.
