Florey is a Registered Dietitian/Nutritionist and has been a Certified Diabetes Educator since 1999. Her background includes working as clinical dietitian for Blake Medical Center, as diabetes educator at Doctors Hospital and she had a private practice in a cooking school. Before going back to college to earn her Master of Science degree in Food Science and Human Nutrition at the University of Florida, Florey worked for more than ten years in the natural food industry. She is available to meet with members for diabetes management and for prevention of diabetes. She loves to cook, feels it is relaxing; and loves to share recipes.
